FAQs

What’s the schedule for the weekend?

The weekend schedule includes a welcome dinner on Thursday, ranch activities on Friday, the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday, and a farewell brunch on Sunday. Check the full schedule on the Schedule page.

What meals will be provided?

All scheduled meals throughout the weekend are hosted and covered by us. This includes:

  • Thursday: Welcome dinner.

  • Friday: Breakfast, BBQ lunch, and a Filipino feast for dinner.

  • Saturday: Breakfast, grab-and-go lunch, and reception dinner.

  • Sunday: Farewell breakfast.

The Flow Cafe at Milk & Honey Ranch will also be open and available for service. See the menu here.

What should I wear?

For all other times and events throughout the weekend, we’ll be in our comfy clothes!

  • Thursday (Welcome Dinner & Bonfire): Western attire—think jeans, boots, flannels, maxi dresses, and cowboy hats.

  • Friday (Ranch Activities): Beach and ranch attire.

  • Friday (Filipino Celebration): Traditional Filipino dress or cocktail attire.

  • Saturday (Ceremony & Reception): Garden formal—pastels, floral prints, light suits, sundresses, fun hats, and comfortable dress shoes. Please avoid wearing black or white as these colors are reserved for the wedding party.

What amenities does the ranch offer?

Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities, including:

  • Luxury pool and hot tub

  • Multi-sport court

  • Beach club with kayaks, jet skis, and stand-up paddleboards

  • Sand volleyball court

  • Walking trails

  • Fully equipped gym

  • Farm-life animal encounters

  • Farm to table Flow Café

  • Full service Flow Spa

Are the ranch amenities included?

All guests staying on-site will have what’s called the “Ranch Package” already included in their lodging rate.

The Ranch Package covers grounds access all weekend and activities and amenities, including the luxury pool and hot tub, the beach club (kayaks, jet skis, paddle boards), hiking trails, sand volleyball and multi-sports courts, 400 farm animals, fully equipped gym, and more. Spa treatments and additional café purchases are not included.

For those staying off-site, the Ranch Package is $50/day per person, except for the wedding day. These passes will be booked through the couple.

Is there Wi-Fi available on the property?

While the ranch offers a tranquil environment to disconnect, Wi-Fi is available in certain areas for guests who need to stay connected.

Where should I stay?

Milk & Honey Ranch offers 19 unique rental units, including luxury suites, cottages, and casitas. Each accommodation is designed to provide comfort and a unique experience. Off-site options include nearby hotels, Airbnbs, and rental homes. Check out more information on the Accommodations page.

How do I get to the venue?

Milk & Honey Ranch is located at 8202 Brandt Rd, Burton, TX 77835.

Burton is a 1hr 20min drive from Austin-Bergstrom International (Austin airport) and approximately 1hr 35min from George Bush Intercontinental (Houston airport). We will provide airport shuttle options to and from the ranch.

If you can’t make a shuttle time, Uber rides one-way from both airports to the ranch typically range between $60-$100, but please keep in mind that Uber in the town of Burton is a little less active than big cities. If you’re staying off-site, plan for longer wait times at slow hours of the day when going back and forth to the venue, or use the Uber reserve feature!

For those who want to rent a car for the weekend, the ranch has plenty of parking.

What’s the difference between staying on and off-site?

Staying On-Site

  • On-site rental units (details on the Accommodations page) include a 3-night stay and the ranch package, covering activities, amenities, and access to the ranch all weekend.

  • We’ll have shuttles to and from the airport at set times on Thursday and Sunday, so rental cars aren’t necessary. There’s also Uber in the area, and plenty of parking on-site if you choose to drive.

Staying Off-Site

  • Off-site guests can still join the fun! To access the ranch’s activities and amenities for the weekend, each guest pays a $50/day ranch fee.

  • You can come on board the airport shuttles to the ranch and back then Uber to your stay, or catch an Uber from the airport if you can’t make the shuttle! Rental cars are also a great choice for those who don’t want to rely on Uber back and forth to the venue all weekend.

  • Don’t worry—everyone staying off-site still has full access to the same meals, activities, and amenities as on-site guests.

Meals & Wedding Day Access

  • Meals for the entire weekend are on us, whether you’re staying on or off-site.

  • If you’re attending only on the wedding day, the ranch package isn’t required. All wedding-day guests have access to the ranch for the ceremony and reception.

We want everyone to feel included, no matter where you stay!

How do I RSVP?

RSVP at this link.

Can the kids come?

We love our nieces and nephews! Children are welcome to join us for our big ranch day on Friday, October 31st – where they can enjoy the beach club, meet the farm animals, and join in for a family BBQ lunch – as well as the Farewell Breakfast on Sunday, November 2nd.

For the wedding day and other events, we kindly ask for an adults-only celebration (with the exception of two close family members). This allows us to create the intimate, mature atmosphere we’re envisioning for the big day.

Can I bring a plus one?

If we can accommodate your plus one, they will be mentioned on the RSVP link when you type in your name! If you believe we've made a mistake, absolutely feel free to reach out to get clarification. Please know we wish we had the ability to include everyone we (and you) love, and we appreciate your understanding of our choice to keep the occasion an intimate one.

Will there be a livestream?

Yes! For those who can’t attend in person, we’re setting up a livestream of the ceremony so you can join us virtually. Details will be shared closer to the date.
